Twynham Housing extends Banyards' contract for grounds maintenance |
2nd May 2007 |
Twynham
Housing Association has renewed and expanded its contract with horticultural
company Banyards for grounds maintenance.
Following a one-year trial contract of 70 social and sheltered housing areas in and around Christchurch, Dorset, the new one-year extension includes a further 40 sites.
Banyards' grounds maintenance manager Jim Edwards said: "Previously the sites had been maintained by Twynham's inhouse team. The trial period went very successfully and we helped the association meet all its objectives in looking for innovative ways to save costs and improve the standards of work."
Work includes weekly and fortnightly grass cutting, shrub pruning, hedge cutting, weed control of hard areas and litter picking.
