Dorset Arboriculture Partnership - Official Partnership Signing |

Banyards are delighted to announce that The Dorset
Arboriculture Partnership is now official following the formal signing
of the Memoradum of Understanding at the Springfield Country Hotel,
Wareham, on 27th May.
The partnership has been formed between the council’s contracting arm—Dorset Works Organisation—and Banyards, the successful private commercial contractor, following a thorough tender process.
Both parties have been busy working together since October 2004 to establish best practice administrative and operational procedures. As with all new relationships early bonding was vital and got off to a good start with key members of both partners’ management and tree surgery departments meeting for lunch to get to know each other better.
There are monthly operational and quarterly strategic review meetings to ensure this national initiative, which will be closely watched by other councils in the UK, provides a benchmark for other arboriculture partnerships that may be established across the UK.
