Renewed contract at UKAEA Winfrith |

Horticultural company Banyards has won a renewal of its grounds maintenance
contract with United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) at Winfrith.
Under the contract, Horton Heath-based Banyards is responsible for cutting the grass, pruning the shrubs and controlling weeds in all the hard areas by spraying to the correct environmental standards.
The contract provides for the equivalent of one and a half full time staff on site, and this manpower may be used by the site manager for additional grounds maintenance work, including forestry mulching.
